House Edge and RTP Table
Edges for skill games (blackjack, video poker, table poker) assume optimal or basic strategy. Slot and keno figures are estimates and vary by machine and operator.

What this table shows
The house edge is the long-run percentage of every bet that the casino expects to keep. RTP (return to player) is the flip side - what comes back to players over time. The cost per bet column turns those percentages into real money for the stake you choose, so you can see what each game is expected to cost you per round.
These are long-run averages, not a prediction of any single session. Over a short visit your real result swings far above or below these numbers - that swing is variance, and it is why people win on high-edge games and lose on low-edge ones in the short term. The edge only shows up reliably over thousands of rounds.
How to use it
Type your typical bet, pick your currency, then filter or search to compare games. Sort by lowest edge first to find the best value bets, or by highest to see which wagers cost the most. The cost shown is per single round or hand - to estimate an hourly cost, multiply it by how many rounds you play per hour (a busy blackjack table is roughly 60-80 hands an hour; slots can be 400-700 spins).
For a full session plan, pair this with the Slot Bankroll and Comp / Theo calculators. For the exact rules behind the casino-game rows, see the Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps and Video Poker calculators on this site.
How house edge, RTP and cost relate
All three describe the same thing from different angles. RTP and edge always add up to 100%, and your expected cost is simply your bet multiplied by the edge.
- RTP
RTP = 100% − House edge - Cost per bet
Cost = Bet × Edge% - Session loss
Loss ≈ Bet × Edge% × Rounds
Read the rules before you sit down. For skill games the edge assumes you play correctly - blackjack mistakes or a weak video-poker paytable can multiply the real edge. A 6:5 blackjack table roughly triples the edge of a 3:2 table, and a short-pay 6/5 Jacks or Better machine costs far more than full-pay 9/6. Slots and keno are estimates only; their true RTP varies by machine and operator. A few bets even tilt the other way - full-pay Deuces Wild with perfect play carries a small player edge, though it is rarely found on the floor.
