The treasure cove has quite improved over the years. I like the various things they offer like the hourly draws, the encore credits for the first 100 people through the door, encore credits if you dine at the cafe, etc.

Of course, it's a casino, so don't expect to make money. I recently learned that a First Nations group purchased this place (?), so it's nice to know the profits aren't just going to some corporate entity. If you are in the mood for slots or poker and are in Prince George, would recommend giving the place a try.

Maddy is always such a pleasant bartender. She remembers my drink and makes it whenever i approach the bar. Brook also makes every effort on the floor to ensure I dont have to wait in that bar line. The food is good and the servers are always attentive when i want to order food to go. I really appreciate that they try and upsell me on drinks too while im waiting for my fish and chips

I was in on Saturday Night and the place was basically packed. Had an immediate greeting from Lael who appeared to be the lead server, then was shown to a table by Ava, who was on her first night. I had the club sandwich and my Wife had the fish & chips. Food was out in 10 minutes and was huge portions and very tasty. Ava apologized at the end of our dinner as it was her first night, but there was really no need as the service and food was fast, and no table around us lacked attention for more than 5 minutes. I will be going back often, the food is an excellent value for the price.

Reaching the Venue and Visiting Hours

Daily Hours in Pacific Time

The venue opens seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM (Pacific Time), closing only on Christmas Day. Table games and poker follow separate schedules listed below. The guest services desk, left of the entrance doors, handles arrival questions.

Highway Access and Address

The property marks the Highway 97 South and Highway 16 junction, about 10 minutes by car from Prince George Airport (YXS). Free on-site parking is available. Local transit, taxis, and ride-share connect the venue to the city centre, and the attached hotel offers an airport shuttle on request.

How to Play the Slot Machines

The floor runs over 500 slot machines, including 3-reel classics, multi-line video slots, and progressive units linked to province-wide jackpots (Powerbucks). Denominations start at $0.01 and pass $1.00 per spin, and each machine uses a ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) system. Players follow this sequence:

  • Insert cash or a printed TITO ticket into the bill acceptor.
  • Select line count and bet size using the on-screen buttons.
  • Press spin for each round.
  • Press cash-out to print a ticket showing the balance.
  • Insert that ticket into another machine, or redeem it at a Ticket Express kiosk for banknotes.

Slot attendants on the floor pay jackpots, exchange bills, and reset machines. Players needing help can signal an attendant or visit guest services near the entrance.

Joining the Table Games

Table games run Monday to Thursday from 4:15 PM to 2:00 AM and Friday to Sunday from 11:15 AM to 2:00 AM (Pacific Time). Tables open by demand; players submit requests to the pit boss up to 15 minutes before a scheduled opening. The lineup includes Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Four Card Poker, Fast Action Hold’em, and electronic roulette ($1.00–$100.00 per bet).

Reserving a Poker Seat

The poker room spreads $1–$2 No Limit Hold’em. Monday to Thursday the main table opens at 4:30 PM and the feeder at 5:30 PM, with call-in reservations from 4:00 PM. Friday to Sunday the main table opens at 1:00 PM and the feeder at 2:00 PM, with reservations from 11:00 AM. Players reserve a seat by phoning 250-614-9127.

Blackjack Limits and Procedure

Blackjack is dealt from a six-deck shoe, and only the dealer touches the cards. The aim is to reach 21, or finish closer to 21 than the dealer without busting. Players may add the King’s Bounty bonus bet ($1.00–$5.00), which pays when the first two cards total 20.

Bingo Sessions and Virtual Bingo Across BC

The hall offers 600+ electronic terminals alongside paper cards. Sessions run daily at 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM (Learn to Play), 6:00 PM, and 10:00 PM. To join, players enter the main doors, turn left, and reach bingo staff at 250-561-0444 for details.

Purchasing Virtual Bingo Cards

British Columbia residents aged 19 or older can play Virtual Bingo from anywhere in the province. Cards are bought in person or ordered online and delivered by Canada Post for $11.95. Under BCLC rules, the operator verifies age (19+), residency, and location to confirm play occurs within BC before any prize is paid.

Enrolling in Encore Rewards and Redeeming Points at Treasure Cove Casino

Encore Rewards links slot and table play to a points balance earned on coin-in (the amount wagered), not on losses. New members sign up at guest services and receive a physical card. Once enrolled, members redeem points at any slot machine:

  • Insert the Encore card words-first into the card reader.
  • Wait for the green light and the on-screen welcome message.
  • Press the red X in the upper-right corner.
  • Press the dollar ($) symbol.
  • Enter the 4-digit PIN and press enter.
  • Select “Redeem points”, choose the amount, and press OK.

Membership also opens promotions, hourly Hot-Seat draws, and giveaways. Slot attendants and guest services handle replacements and PIN resets.

Banking, Lottery Services, and CAD Cash Handling

All cage transactions process in Canadian dollars, removing currency conversion for local players. Cash, debit, and credit-card cash advances are accepted, and on-site independent ATMs typically charge about C$4.50–C$5.00 per withdrawal. Players are advised to set a fixed budget before arrival. The lottery counter at guest services sells Pull Tabs, Scratch N’ Win, Sports Action, Keno, Lotto 6/49, and Lotto Max.

Responsible Gaming Resources in British Columbia

The venue operates within the BCLC and GameSense framework, which supplies tools to keep play as paid entertainment. Players in British Columbia can apply several controls during a visit:

  • Set a fixed CAD spend limit before entering.
  • Bring only the cash designated for play.
  • Schedule breaks rather than playing until funds run out.
  • Treat points and promotions as a rebate, not a strategy.
  • Ask guest services about GameSense and self-exclusion if play stops being recreational.

Privacy questions reach the Privacy Officer at (250) 561-2421 or [email protected].
