I visited this casino in Surrey in 2025. Although it was a large place with ample parking, many of the seats and facilities were quite old, and more than half of the seats were broken. Returning in June 2026, I found that after a year, many of the facilities had been completely renovated, the seats were new, and there were many new slot machines to play. I spent over three hours there and had a great time, but I couldn't find any self-service soda or coffee machines. Nevertheless, it's still worth coming back for more fun.

They have closed the two decent restaurants in there. The one that's there called foodies is as bad as McDonald's.

This casino and it's staff, right from the id checker, to the customer service and washroom attendants were non judgment as I had been stuck outside in a down pour waiting for someone to pick me up. The id checker suggested that I go warm up inside while I wanted, upon submitting my id. I eneded up having to sit outside for another20 minutes while I searched in my multifaceted backpack but found it. I didn't wit in tne designated area but proceeded to check my backpack and collect my birthday free play. Plus a promotional envelope for Chinese new year. Collect all 4 for luck in tbe new year. I'm a keno player and so are many others. So the 4 gambling machines were taken all night, kinda killing my experience a bit. I decided to dry off and freshen up In the cleanest washrooms I've ever been in, and the attendants never knocking once to hurry me up, and security kept checking on me. But silently only. She has a cute shoulder length haircut. Looks good.the Layout inside looks confusing upon entry but we'll thought out once you go through the while thing. Tons of variety games and cards and slots/vlt.
This is s casino that truly cares about it's patrons. P.s. horse racing occurs here.

My wife and I will go in the early morning. Very few people there.
The food is really good.
They have alot of slots to play, not crowded together. Many are Asian themed with big jackpots! It is a decent place if you have extra money to play with.

I was here for a short period of time but enjoyed playing here in this clean, quiet casino!
Not once did anyone offer me service / drink though.
The young fellow at the door was extremely pleasant and welcoming which was quite nice.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this casino. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the racism and discrimination in the air. The staff treated certain guests with such disrespect, while others seemed to be given preferential treatment for no apparent reason. I witnessed multiple instances of rude and condescending behavior towards people of color, and the general atmosphere was uncomfortable and hostile.

The management did nothing to address the issue when I brought it to their attention—if anything, they seemed indifferent. The entire environment felt toxic, and it was clear that some people were being treated horribly just based on their appearance. The staff were rude, the facilities were dirty, and the overall vibe was disgusting.
It was the Asian woman with the long chin and 2 Indian men. But the Filipino guy there was amazing and needs a promotion.

I will never return to this casino, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. There are plenty of other places that offer a more welcoming and respectful atmosphere. This place needs serious change, or it will continue to alienate customers and tarnish its reputation.

Way out of the way. In fact I believe this is in Cloverdale as it’s beside the Cloverdale Flea Market.

Staff is all quite friendly.

Customer Service Desk does have a cost check which is extremely handy- especially in Winter.

The building is rather old and it’s not very big.

There are 3 sections for slot machines.

The chairs at the slots are very old and are in extremely poor condition. They need to be replaced or reupholstered at least.

There is a small lounge (limited selections) with open air seating. Not sure of the menu. Late night dining is not available.

A small amount of table games on the second floor, close to the cashier.

As with any casino, it can be hit or miss.

Only bring the amount of money you would budget for an evening out. If you win that’s a bonus.

I have a method where i decide what I’m spending for that visit. I then get that amount changed into 5$ bills.

I put in 5$ per slot machine. I add up every win. When my credits equal the amount I’ve won it’s time to cash out.

Once I’ve run out of my 5$ bills, I add up all my tickets and that’s what I leave with. It’s a good method to have fun and not ever leave empty
handed.

Reaching the Venue in British Columbia

The casino stands near the Cloverdale Fairgrounds and is reachable from Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Langley, and the Fraser Valley. Free on-site parking is available, and transit links connect surrounding Metro Vancouver areas.

Nearby Accommodation

Out-of-town visitors can book the Holiday Inn & Suites Surrey East – Cloverdale (17530 64 Ave, V3S 1Y9), a short drive away. Rooms include flat-screen televisions, mini-fridges, coffee makers, blackout curtains, and complimentary Wi-Fi. On-site amenities cover an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness centre, restaurant, business centre, and free parking.

Driving Directions

Drivers should follow British Columbia Highway 10 and turn north at the main intersection toward 60th Avenue. Continuing along 60th Avenue leads to the Greenway Park area, where the building sits beside the Cloverdale Arena. From downtown Vancouver, the route takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Slot Machines and How to Start Playing

The floor holds over 500 machines, spanning three-reel classics, video reels, and feature titles with free spins, multipliers, and bonus rounds. To begin, a player selects a unit, inserts cash or a TITO (Ticket-In, Ticket-Out) voucher, sets the credit value and line count, then presses Spin or Max Bet.

Players managing a session should follow these steps:

  • Set a fixed budget in CAD before sitting down and treat it as the session cap.
  • Insert an Encore Rewards card into the reader to record play and accumulate points.
  • Confirm the denomination (penny up to high-limit) on the machine display.
  • Cash out remaining credits as a TITO ticket and redeem it at a kiosk or cage.

High-limit units are grouped in a dedicated room for larger wagers, while progressive and stand-alone jackpot machines link to a networked pool that grows with each qualifying spin. Floor-desk staff explain pay tables, bonus triggers, and minimum credit requirements on request.

Live Table Games and Electronic Stations

The table department combines staffed games with electronic terminals. Live options include Blackjack, Double Deck Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, Baccarat, EZ Baccarat, Roulette, Pai Gow, Four Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Day (Pacific Time)

Table Game Hours

Sunday – Thursday

10:00 AM – 3:00 AM

Friday

10:00 AM – 5:00 AM

Saturday

10:00 AM – 5:00 AM

Fusion Hybrid Electronic Tables

Twenty Fusion hybrid electronic terminals host Baccarat and Roulette, pairing an automated draw with individual touchscreen consoles. These stations typically carry lower minimum stakes than staffed tables and process rounds faster, suiting players who prefer self-paced solo seating.

Live Table Hours and Wagering

To join a live table, a guest checks the posted minimum and maximum on the placard, exchanges cash for chips with the dealer, and places chips within the marked area before the dealer calls “no more bets.” Posted limits vary by game and time of day, with higher minimums common on weekend evenings.

Poker Room Access and Tournaments

The dedicated poker room runs cash games most days, primarily No-Limit Hold’em with Pot-Limit Omaha when demand is high. New arrivals add their name to the seating list at the poker desk, wait for a call, then buy in within the posted range.

Entrants should confirm the following before registering for a tournament:

  • Buy-in amount and any re-entry or rebuy rules stated for the event.
  • Starting stack size and blind-level duration (deep-stack formats run longer levels).
  • Format type, such as freezeout, bounty, or themed events.

High-hand bonuses, hot-seat draws, and splash pots run during selected sessions, and qualifying poker play earns Encore Rewards points when the card is registered with the supervisor. Dates and stake levels change periodically, so players should confirm the current schedule by phone or in person.

Encore Rewards Membership and Point Redemption

Encore Rewards is the loyalty program shared across Great Canadian properties in British Columbia, and registration is free. A guest signs up at Guest Services or online by submitting identification, after which a card is issued for immediate use at slots, tables, and dining outlets.

Earning and Redeeming Points

Points accrue automatically when the card is inserted into a slot reader or shown to a table supervisor before play. Accumulated points convert to free-play vouchers, food and beverage discounts, and entry to member promotions such as Spin It to Win It, Mystery Saturday, and Cash Bonanza. Higher tiers (Double Diamond, Triple Diamond, and Elite) apply accelerators that raise earning rates as recorded play increases.
Membership Tier Typical Benefit
Standard Point earning, birthday reward, promotion entry
Double Diamond Accelerator, expanded offers
Triple Diamond Higher accelerator, priority access
Elite Maximum accelerator, VIP event invitations

Dining Options at the Property

Several outlets serve guests between sessions, from quick-service counters to seated dining. Menus centre on comfort-style dishes, beverages, and snacks, with discounts applied for Encore Rewards members.

The available outlets include:

  • Diamond Buffet — breakfast service, coffee, and buffet selections.
  • Elements Bar — home-style plates and refreshments.
  • Foodies — quick lunch packages and fast-service items.
  • Dragon Lounge — a seated setting with a traditional menu and selected wines.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, and all dining areas are restricted to guests aged 19 and over because they sit inside the licensed floor. Service times differ by outlet and may shift during holidays, so staff can confirm current hours.
