another bad experience tonight
Went in to play table games and was 1 empty spot but a coat on chair.
Asked if spot open and players said the lady said she was coming back but had been gone a long time between 30 and 45 minutes, she was playing slots.
Called pit boss to ask could i move coat since she had been gone so long, Eric{pitboss}said he would go ask her, of course she said no would come back.
I told Eric not fair she can expect spots held so long. He said no different than her going for a meal. i argued big difference
So you can go into this casino play multiply games and expect your spot held at all of them.
So if you expect anything fair regarding rules who can do what do not go into this casino!

I put my beer in the wrong recpticle because there’s no signs telling me not to and the door man made me pull it out of the can that was covered in filth.

It’s a good thing I used to be a janitor and know how to open bins, otherwise I would have ruined my favourite (and lucky) shirt over a small accident and someone else’s large ego.

Got the bottle out mess free and put the lid on because I’m a polite person.

The fish I ordered was alright but made me and my wife nauseous after, and i smelled ten different distinct flavours of B.O. while in the actual pit of the casino.

The janitor lady was really nice and so were the people behind the desk when I got my card.

A couple knobs on the slots either are broken or were never meant to be used

Bartenders and waitress were top notch.

Also my friend won half his rent cheque on a little bet so that was cool.

All in all a very different experience than what I’m used to, don’t think I’ll be coming back any time soon.

Wife had forgotten her purse at the restaurant. A worker there named Mike found it and turned it into casino security. I called the next day and they confirmed they had it so I went and picked it up... after confirming who I was and speaking with my wife i left with it. Once home noticed the cash she had in it was gone. Called the casino back they confirmed they have it but she has to claim it herself. Went back the following day and the security personnel out front were excellent and the Supervisor named Chris was great. Explained when items containing cash get turned in they seize it, count it and turn it into the cashiers booth to ensure it is stored securely. She simply had to prove it was her with ID and she got her cash back. What a professional and exceptional experience this was considering how bad it could have been elsewhere ... hats off and a huge thanks to Cascades Casino and their staff!!

Buffet does not have much selection. Don't tip before you've eaten. They ran out of mash patatoes that was delicious with the roast beef. Only thing I really liked.

How to Register for My Club Rewards in Ontario

Membership in the My Club Rewards program is free and processed on site at the Guest Services desk. Registration cannot be completed remotely; guests must attend in person so staff can verify age and identity.

Documents Required

Entry and enrolment require a valid government-issued photo ID confirming an age of 19 or older. Patrons who appear 21 or younger must also present a secondary piece of identification bearing their name.

Step-by-Step Enrolment

The sign-up sequence is short and can be completed in a few minutes:

  • Approach the Guest Services or rewards desk near the main entrance.
  • Present a valid passport, driver’s licence, or provincial ID card for age verification.
  • Provide basic personal details such as full name and contact information.
  • Receive a physical My Club Rewards card issued on the spot.
  • Insert the card into any slot machine or hand it to a dealer to begin accumulating points.

Once the card is active, points accrue through slot play, electronic table games, and qualifying on-site dining purchases. Members advance through tiers that unlock priority dining seating, event invitations, and tailored promotional offers.

Earning and Redeeming Points

Accumulated points can be exchanged for gaming credits and meal discounts. Members check balances and tier status at in-casino terminals positioned around the floor.

Accessing the Slot Floor

The slot area operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no scheduled closing time. The floor holds more than 300 machines (roughly 313 to 320 units depending on rotation), with denominations spanning CAD 0.01 to CAD 5.00. To play, a guest inserts cash or a printed ticket into the bill acceptor, selects a bet level, and presses the spin or bet button. Cash-out produces a printed ticket (ticket-in/ticket-out), redeemed at a cashier cage or a ticket redemption kiosk.

Denominations and Game Titles

The library combines reel-style and video formats from established suppliers. Titles include Buffalo, Dragon Link, Lightning Link, Wheel of Fortune, Quick Hits, Huff n’ Puff, Prosperity Link, Triple Blazing 7s, Mystery of the Lamp, Red Hot Tamales, and Timber Jack, along with link-style cabinets such as Lock It Link and Helix Tower. Because bet limits vary by machine, low-stake and higher-stake play coexist on the same floor.

Playing Live Table Games

The venue runs 10 live table games supervised by dealers who explain rules on request. Live tables operate Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Friday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM (ET). To join, a guest takes an open seat, exchanges cash for chips with the dealer, and wagers within the posted table minimums and maximums.

Managing Funds and Payments

Cash is the primary method for gaming buy-ins. At slot machines, guests insert bills directly; at tables, they exchange cash for chips with the dealer. The casino does not accept credit or debit cards for gaming buy-ins, though cards are accepted for dining purchases. On-site bank machines (ATMs) handle withdrawals, and winnings convert to cash at cashier cages or ticket redemption kiosks. Daily withdrawal limits apply, and all amounts are settled in CAD.

Dining and Beverage Service

Three food and beverage outlets operate within the building, each addressing a different visit type.

  • MATCH Eatery & Public House — pub and sports-bar setting with comfort fare, draft beer, and multiple screens for live games.
  • The Buffet — sit-down service featuring international selections.
  • Summit Bar — full-service bar for drinks and lighter orders.

Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are available across the gaming floor. Card payments are accepted at all dining points, and operating hours typically cover lunch, dinner, and late-night service.

Entertainment, Promotions, and Private Events

The property schedules live music at MATCH Eatery & Public House, featuring local performers across changing dates. Large-screen televisions broadcast hockey, football, and international events for sports audiences. A recurring promotion, Girls’ Night Out, runs every Wednesday, while seasonal draws and bonus-point events rotate through the calendar. Private functions, including corporate gatherings and celebrations, can be arranged through the event planning team with catering and dedicated space.

Lodging and Nearby Attractions

Cascades Casino Chatham does not include an on-site hotel, but two IHG properties sit directly beside the venue on Richmond Street.

Responsible Gaming and Entry Rules

The site participates in PlaySmart, the OLG responsible-gambling program, which provides self-exclusion options and support resources. Entry requires age verification at the door, and security personnel monitor the premises continuously through surveillance systems. The dress code prohibits beachwear, soiled clothing or footwear, and garments with offensive imagery. Guests must consume alcohol responsibly, and staff may refuse entry or remove patrons who behave disruptively.

Planning a Visit to Cascades Casino Chatham

The casino sits off Richmond Street with free on-site parking and ground-level access. Guests should bring valid photo ID, plan around the applicable gaming hours, and confirm current promotions at the Guest Services desk. Slots run around the clock, while table games follow the set daily schedule listed above. For event details or table availability, patrons can contact the venue by phone or email, or check official channels before arriving.
