The power outage itself was obviously beyond anyone’s control. What was difficult was how the situation was handled afterward. There was very little leadership, communication, or guidance provided to our group during the disruption. Guests who had travelled from out of town, arranged babysitters, and spent significant time and money attending ended up leaving hungry and scattered without any proper conclusion to the evening.
No meaningful effort was made to relocate the group, continue the event elsewhere in the casino, help organize remaining food, or preserve important parts of the celebration. We had purchased an expensive custom cake for the event, and no one offered to store it, serve it, or help salvage the moment for our guests. The cake ultimately went entirely to waste, along with decorations we had brought for the evening.
What was most disappointing was the follow-up afterward. The responses felt focused primarily on billing and contractual language rather than the actual guest experience and impact of the evening.
Very unfortunate outcome for what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
The space is well-maintained, clean, and organized, which makes the overall experience comfortable. Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional, always ready to assist when needed. They also have good food and drink options, which adds to the experience if you’re planning to spend a few hours there.
