I’m writing to share my disappointing experience during our recent visit to Casino Niagara (May 14,2026)
We had just arrived at the casino and went directly to the restaurant to have dinner. Not even a minute after we sat down before we had even placed our order one of the security guards approached us and asked me, “Have you been kicked out of the casino before?”
I replied “No,” and he then asked for my ID. I gave it to him and asked why he was asking me that question. He did not answer, but I noticed he was comparing my ID to a person on a paper he was holding. Of course, I was not the person he was looking for. (Remember this is the second time they ask me when I visit before. “I said to the security”)
This experience was frustrating and upsetting. I understand that security staff are simply doing their job, but the timing and approach felt very inappropriate. We had just driven an hour and a half from downtown Toronto to Niagara, and this was the kind of welcome we received upon arrival.
The situation could have been handled much better. He could have waited until after we finished our dinner or approached us more discreetly once we were settled. Instead, the interaction made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience for future visits, and I also hope for a better experience during our next visit.
Thank you.

The restaurant downstairs offers good quality food and service.

Accessing the Gaming Floors
The two floors separate slot play from cards, so visitors should locate the slot banks on both levels and the table pit before settling in.
How Slot Machines Pay Out
Three pay-table formats apply: Multiplier (combinations pay the listed amount times the coins wagered, up to five), Buy A Pay (each coin activates an extra pay column), and Buy A Line (coins played set the active pay lines, up to five or more). A help button on most machines shows rules, while the See Pays button lists payouts. The Change button lights the candle to summon a slot attendant.
Slot Machines and Denominations
Denominations run from pennies to $5, with 350+ progressive units feeding linked jackpots. To play, a guest inserts a Momentum card into the reader (wait for “accepted”), feeds Canadian bills up to $100 into the bill validator, then presses Bet One or Bet Max. The Spin Button or handle starts the reels, and the Cash/Credit button returns remaining credits as a ticket. Featured titles include Mariachi Fortunes Trio, Kong Skull Island, Monopoly Express Beijing Railroad, and Power Bucks omnichannel jackpot games.
Joining the Table Games
Players reach the table pit on the main level, where a Momentum card should be handed to the dealer for rating before the first wager. The roster covers card and wheel formats, each posting its minimum on a placard.
- Blackjack (standard 21, the most-played card game)
- Roulette (wheel-based betting)
- Bahama Bonus (a faster blackjack variation)
- Casino War (head-to-head high-card play)
- Three Card Poker (a stud variant with multiple wagers)
- Mississippi Stud (a poker format played against a pay table)
After choosing a seat, guests place chips inside the betting box and confirm the dealer swipes the Momentum card so play accrues toward rewards.
Entering the Poker Room
The Poker Room sits on Level 2 and runs daily from Noon to 3:45 am, with 18 tables covering high and low limits. Players add their name to the board, then take the next open seat when called by room staff. No-limit and limit formats both run, and tournaments are scheduled through the year.
Electronic Table Games
Interblock terminals provide automated formats including Automated BIG 6, Roulette / Sic Bo Twin Combo, and Roulette Mini Star, plus dealer-dealt Roulette and Blackjack. These units lower entry costs for budget-minded players. Selections are made on a touch screen, with the result resolved automatically.
Game | Minimum bet |
Shufflemaster Blackjack (electronic) | $5 |
Electronic Baccarat | $5 |
Electronic Roulette | $2 |
Electronic Sic-Bo | $1 |
Live Blackjack (weekdays) | $10–$15 |
Bad Beat Jackpot
On the Texas Hold’em tables, a Bad Beat Jackpot pays when a strong hand is beaten. To qualify, a player must lose holding Four of a Kind (Quads) to higher Quads, a Straight Flush, or a Royal Flush. Both hole cards must be used, a pocket pair is required, and the player must hold the second-highest qualifying hand; room staff confirm eligibility.
Signing Up for Momentum Rewards
Momentum is the rewards program operated by Mohegan, and enrolment is required before play counts toward credits. The card tracks slot and table activity and unlocks tier-based benefits.
- Visit the Momentum Desk or VIP Services Desk on site.
- Present valid government identification to register.
- Insert the card into any slot reader, or hand it to a dealer.
- Sign in to the MY MOMENTUM account to view monthly offers
Offers no longer appear in the Players Insider newsletter, so members call 1.877.376.9722 or speak with desk staff at either property for help locating them.
Betting at LEV2L Sports Bar
LEV2L Sports Bar & Entertainment seats 275 guests and runs 50 HD screens for live events. Sportsbook wagers are placed at 15 self-service betting kiosks, where users select events, enter a stake, and print a ticket. The space serves lunch, dinner, and late-night pub menus (wings, pizza, sandwiches), with free live music every weekend.
Handling Currency, Tickets, and Payments
Machines run on Canadian currency, and US bills are converted by slot staff, ticket redemption kiosks, or the cage cashier. The floor uses a Ticket In/Ticket Out system, so unplayed credits print as a ticket for reuse or cash-out.
- Insert Canadian bills (up to $100) into the validator to load credits.
- Press Cash/Credit to print a ticket for any remaining balance.
- Redeem tickets at any Ticket Redemption Kiosk or the cashiering area.
- Exchange US funds at the cage and keep the receipt to convert back at the same rate.
Tickets rejected for any reason return at the Bill/Ticket Acceptor where they were inserted.
Method | How it works |
US currency exchange | Slot staff, kiosks, or cage cashier |
Bills accepted | Canadian bills up to $100 |
Cash-out | Printed ticket (Ticket In/Ticket Out) |
Redemption | Any kiosk or cashiering area |
Residual Tickets Explained
A Residual Ticket prints at the Collect Ticket location when a ticket exceeds what a higher-denomination game can accept. For example, a $32.50 ticket inserted into a $1.00 game applies $32.00 and issues $0.50 as a residual. That residual can be used on a $0.01–$0.50 game or cashed at a kiosk.
Using the Free Shuttle and Parking
A free shuttle connects Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort on Fridays, Saturdays, and OLG Stage event dates, running 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. Riders board at the Casino Niagara level 3 entrance on the 15s (00:15, 00:45) and at the Fallsview lower concourse on the half hour. Boarding requires a Momentum Card, an OLG Stage or Avalon Theatre ticket, or a Falls Avenue Resort keycard. Parking is free when a player’s card is used to exit the structure.
